Nicky Hayden is not optimistic that he will be able to improve his pace for tomorrow's Japanese Grand Prix after struggling to 11th on the grid. Both Ducatis had struggled with set-up issues in practice, but whereas Casey Stoner was able to make a breakthrough in qualifying and get onto the front row, Hayden's problems continued and he was a second slower and eight places further down the order. "It hasn't been a good day for us really," Hayden admitted.
